How to enter

Entry is free for all classes.

Complete the entry form and return to the Show Secretary (via the box at the village hall)
no later than 12 noon on Saturday 29th August 2026.

Only one entry per category per person please.

Schedule:

VEGETABLES

All items in a single entry should be of near equal size, shape and colour. Beans should be presented with stalks attached. Beetroot and carrots should have intact taproots with foliage trimmed to approximately 7.5cm (3”). Onions should have the foliage (neck) trimmed and tied. Tomatoes should be presented with the calyx (stalk) attached. Courgettes should ideally be between 10cm and 20cm long (4″-8″).

FRUIT

All fruit should be of near equal size, shape and colour. Plums should have stalks attached. Berries should be displayed with the calyces (hulls) attached.

FLOWERS

All dahlias in a single entry should be of equal size and symmetrical with straight stems and healthy foliage with no associated buds.

Jars to be of clear glass, free from commercial markings and clearly labelled with the type of contents and date of production. Minimum jar size 8oz. Jams should have wax discs with cellophane covers.
